Genealogically speaking, these will hold the name of the head of household and number statistics for other members in the household. They can prove helpful for filling in gaps. Known MS state census years are 1801, 1805, 1808, 1810, 1816, 1818, 1820, 1822, 1823, 1824, 1825, 1830, 1833, 1837, 1840, 1841, 1845, 1850, 1853, 1860, and 1866.
