Indiana Census NotesThe 1807 Census of Indiana Territory is a compilation of original manuscripts from Knox, Dearborn and Randolph Counties of Indiana. The Clark County portion of this census was lost however there is an 1806 voters list for Clark County which can be used as a census substitute. See 1807 Indiana Territory Census & 1807 Indiana Voters List. Federal Indiana census records are available to the public for census years 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930. See 1790-1940 US Census Records at Ancestry. 1800 & 1810 Indiana Territorial Census Schedules are missing. 1820 Federal Indiana Census Schedules for Daviess County are missing. 1920 Federal Census Records - Florida, Greene and Wabash Townships of the Parke County census schedules are missing and according to NARA were completely lost. 1890 Federal Indiana census records were destroyed by a 1921 warehouse fire including the Veterans and Widows Census.
