at SK Publications have freely donated many census images to the
USGenWeb Archives for which the genealogy community is very
grateful. You may purchase census books and cds of census
records on their site at a reasonable cost. Also featured is
Census Trackers whereby they will locate your ancestor in the census
1850 through 1930 and email the information within 24 hours for a
one time charge. Leave it to Genie is a weekly service
provided by SK Publications which provides a weekly research report
on your ancestor at a nominal weekly charge. Stop by and take
a peek at what they have to offer. |
Historical
Census Browser
Located
at the University of Virginia Library, this is a great census reference tool
for US census records. It gives information on what questions were asked in each Federal
census year 1790-1960.

Links for listing. This project is
ongoing. I am finding
it takes much time to locate all of the available census transcriptions,
images and indexes which are available online. Perhaps this will
help you cut through the hunt and chase. I have added additional
various resources when census records are not available for a particular
area or when I felt they were good census substitutes for a given place and
time period.
Attention! Transcribing old census records is extremely difficult, tedious, pain staking work.
Please remember to thank the volunteers at each site when you locate genealogy information and census records which are helpful to you in your research.
